Overview

This is a large network of short trails that can be pieced together to form longer rides. The trails are fast and flowing with very few obstacles. The park is managed by Morgantown Board of Parks and Recreation and the trails are maintained by local riders.

Need to Know

In the summer months, training races are held every Thursday night. Check Google Groups (Mon Bike Club) for more information.

Description

Parking can be found anyplace within the park. The trails cross the paved road and sidewalk at several points so use caution. Most riders start at the ice rink. Also, no swimming or boating is permitted in the reservoir.

This place is a playground for mountain bikers. The trail is easy to follow, and you really can't get lost. Overall, it's not particularly challenging riding, but there are many options to try jumps - including a few gap jumps that locals have built.

Some of the rock armor keeping the wet parts of the trail rideable. A lot of time and effort go into maintaining the trails at White Park, so if you see someone putting in work, be sure to stop and say thanks and offer them a hand (or a beer), they deserve it!

Looking down the upper jump line and beginner flow line. This can be accessed most easily by parking up the hill from the ice rink.
