Description

Off the side of old 411 near Rabun County High School is a somewhat unnoticeable, but marked, entrance to this trail. Use caution if you choose to drive up the forest road that leads to the trail heads. You may have to park on the first 25 feet of the entrance road and ride in due to the road conditions. The entrance to this trail is a bit difficult to spot. About 100 feet back from the fork in the forest road, down and off into the brush, is the entrance to this trail. A sign is present, but barely visible.

Unlike the Stonewall Falls trail, this trail snakes through hot, humid, open canopy pine forest. There's much more sand on portions of this trail, but not difficult to ride. The trail has some steep climbs and some very quick twisty downhill sections. Part of the trail loops back on itself and you can either ride back to the entrance marked with the sign or hit a series of massive dirt jumps that throw you out onto the forest entrance road; another barely visible trailhead.

Hiked the trail today after the storm and there are approximately 14 large trees down across the trail. Majority will require a chainsaw.
