Lakeway Area Mountain Bike Enthusiasts (LAME): What started out as a small group of local riders getting together for a weekly ride has grown into something much more meaningful. Not only has the Wednesday night LAME ride become an eagerly anticipated social event for many local riders, the friendships formed through our common interest have enabled us to create a culture of civic involvement that we hope represents mountain biking in a responsible and respectful manner. LAME has become integral to building and maintaining the trails in Lakeway, coaching the LTHS MTB Team, TMBRA racing, and building the mountain bike culture in the area. It’s great to be LAME!
