COMO Trail Association

The COMO Trail Association is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation dedicated to creating and maintaining sustainable natural surface trails in the mid-Missouri region, giving greater opportunities for mountain bikers and outdoor enthusiasts to live healthy active lives.

Established in 2018, the COMO Trail Association has been working with local, state, and federal agencies to preserve the natural environment for recreational experience. The COMO Trail Association regularly partners with a variety of user groups, land managers, and businesses to support and run numerous outdoor recreation events including educational training in sustainable trail building, group rides, races, and trail work days.

The MISSION of COMOTA is to build, maintain, and promote sustainable natural surface trail use near and around the Columbia, Missouri area. COMOTA is dedicated to cooperating and communicating with public entities to preserve and advance the outdoor recreational experience on natural surface trails, and foster the growth of strong community of trail enthusiasts.

COMOTA's Vision: To promote and develop trails and facilities for mountain biking and trail running in central Missouri.
