Mitchell County Mountain Goats

The Mitchell County Mountain Goats (MCMG) is a nonprofit organization created in 2019 whose vision is to provide and encourage land and water recreation for Mitchell County residents/visitors via mountain biking, hiking, and kayaking opportunities. The group aims to facilitate improved community health and positive economic impacts through their mission of getting residents and visitors outside to participate in fun, healthy activities. In order to reach this vision/mission, the group has a goal of expanding and improving natural surface singletrack trail access, in turn promoting the local area as a high quality location to visit, live, and recreate.
