Description

The County Line Road is an old fire road which serves as a connector for the Tsali Left Loop and the Tsali Right Loop. It has a primarily gravel surface and is a wide doubletrack trail with some eroded sections. There is nothing inherently interesting about this trail, but it has a few somewhat steep climbs with descents to match.

Because of the gravel, it seems to require more effort than you would expect, but it tends to flow better coming from the lake rather than from the parking area. If you happen to be riding it towards the lake, just take solace in the fact that miles of exciting singletrack and magnificent views of Fontana Lake and the Great Smoky Mountains await you on both the Tsali Left Loop and the Tsali Right Loop!
