This is a county park, hunting is never allowed.

Overview

This is a multi-use trail system but most equestrians stick to the wider trails through the fields. As a result those trails are usually pretty beat up but the singletrack stays in pretty good shape. Great views of the reservoir abound on this ride, some of the best are from the overlooks off the Red Trail.

Description

This is the main loop around the reservoir.

Start on the Blue trail and the hardest riding in the park with lots of loose rocks and some steep grades. There are only a couple of big climbs/descents though. You'll also encounter some technical bits, mostly around creek crossings in the bottom of the ravines.

Use the Perkiomen Trail around the south end of the reservoir to connect to the Red Trail. This easy section is flat and flowy with a few roots and logs.

There are some spots with drainage problems that can remain wet for a long time.

Too many rocks and roots. Trail is not for beginners. Easy to damage bike. But it's marked very well. 10.5mi

Blue Trail can be much more technical than people are saying on here, creek crossings and ravines are extremely steep. The rest is typical blue.
