Overview

It's an easy, well packed trail with minor grade and very few obstacles.

Description

The ride begins at the trailhead for the Tahoe Cross Country ski area and meanders through the heart of Burton Creek State Park. The hard packed and level route follows the edge of the forest as it encircles Antone Meadows, never entering its sanctum.

With bridges at all the creek crossings, this ride can be enjoyed early in the season when the wildflowers are at their peak. There are lots of optional little side trails as well and you can get a map showing other routes at many stores in the Lake Tahoe area.
