Overview
A long, paved loop that covers most of the Valley Forge historical grounds. It passes by several monuments, recreations of Washington's army structures, and historical structures and buildings.
It is well maintained, and you'll certainly run into other people and families enjoying the park.
Need to Know
A small snack hut is located in the parking lot, and the loop passes by the main building that contains a gift shop and all sorts of historical items and relics from when Washington and the troops stayed at Valley Forge.
Description
At 5 miles, the loop is picturesque and a nice ride. Passing through fields and wooded sections, there are plenty of opportunities to stop and just enjoy the sights and the weather.
Walkers and new riders may find the loop to be long enough, as the rolling hills can take their toll after they stop being picturesque. More experienced riders may find the loop enjoyable, but a bit short after a single pass. Young children may find the hills to be too much, depending on their experience level.
