Description

From the top of the Sterling Express lift, head west down the Homeward Bound service road as it curves around the hilltop. Very shortly you'll pick up the well-signed Naildriver singletrack on the left.

Pass through open, scrubby fields of sage as you switchback down the easy well-bermed trail. Enjoy the expansive views of Jordanelle Resevoir and the Kamas Valley over the backside of Deer Valley Resort.

At the saddle, look for Naildriver signs at the major trail intersection, then pass by a snowmaking reservoir. The fun continues as you cruise down though aspen forests and meadows.

This is the easiest way to bike down from the Sterling Express lift, and although it has a few short, slightly loose sections, it's not technical and will be enjoyable for intermediates.
