From the top of the Gondola, head up the Zephyr lift. At the top, exit the chair and head right, the trail starts 100' down.
This is an expert level DH jump trail, it is not recommended for beginner riders, however you may come across some slower traffic on the way down. Passing is not recommended, and is best done a road crossings. The trail is broken into zones(1-7), determined by each road crossing.
Zone 1 starts out fairly mellow, with 4 smaller jumps. If you are having trouble, exit onto
Tryumph at the end of zone 1.
The speed picks up a bit in Zone 2, you'll hit 2 jumps and then the Ol' Glory feature, where Livewire steps up and over the
Gypsy trail. This feature is a slight hip, line up a bit left to right. If you follow the ride line, you should be ok.
Zone 3 is mostly straightaways, with some tighter berms at the bottom. Look for the dirt step-up to wood drop, this will be an option on the left approx 1/3 of the way down.
Zone 4 is a bit slower, with more flow. The last jump in 4 may feel a bit small, look for the hip landing on the left bank if you are going too big.
There is a shady pullout at the top of Zone 5, stop here to catch your breath. Dropping into 5, it feels very similar to A-Line in Whistler, tight, fast turns, with poppy jumps.
Zone 6 contains some of the largest jumps on the trail, watch your speed because it is easy to go too fast. The Dragon's Knuckle, step-on/step-off feature, is the most unique feature in the zone, and when you hit it right, feels awesome.
Zone 7 is short and straight forward, with nothing too technical. The trail finishes at the bottom of the Zephyr chairlift, so you can hop back on for another ride.
