Description

Heading out of the parking lot at the base of MIne rd. go directly across the road to the lower end of Roaring Run trail. The trail starts out as smooth flowing singletrack leading back to Roaring Run creek where you'll begin to gain elevation while following along the creek. The trail will make several long switchbacks as you make your way to the top. The terrain consists of roots and rocks from here on up to the top, all of them small enough to roll over with some skill. The last section before getting back to Mine Rd. Is a fast flowing doubletrack that is level to slightly downhill. Once you reach Mine Rd. you can take the gravel rd. back to the parking area or continue uphill to the entrance for Powerline Trail.

For a quick warm up ride pedal 1 mile up Mine Rd. to the top end or Roaring Run Trail and come back down Roaring Run Trail.

The trail is equally fun riding down or up.
