Description

Red Dog heads to Poly Canyon via a more direct route that crosses several small drainages. There really are some great views from along the route as it is mostly open and traverses above the train tracks, however it is also narrow, quite worn, at times overgrown, and all too popular with various thistles.

In the end, Red Dog is a fine alternative to the more popular Elevator to Stenner Creek descent and worth riding once in a while.
