Description

This trail can be accessed via either Governor's Park or Tom Brown Park. Starting from Tom Brown means a short ride on Pavement down the drive that leads to the National Guard Armory. Prior to reaching the armory, the trail begins by diving under Capital Circle.

Most of the ride is somewhat rooty, with some small drops or logs, but not overly technical. The middle portion of the ride is wide doubletrack along a drainage easement, but it tucks back into singletrack quickly enough.

Part of the trail is on City of Tallahassee property, part of Governor's Park. There is a small parking area, but across the CSX RR easement and signs warn against crossing the tracks.

In and of itself, it's a short ride, but it can be combined with the trail system at Tom Brown/Lafayette Heritage Park for a much longer day of mountain biking.
