Ogden BST - Waterfall Canyon to Beus Canyon

Easiest access is further north at the 27th Street trailhead. It can also be accessed from 29th Street trailhead and 36th Street trailhead. This trail segment starts (or ends) at the Waterfall Canyon trail, right where the bridge crosses and the trails converge.

From the Waterfall Canyon Trail, head south along the contour into Strong's Canyon. Cross the bridge here and begin a short and somewhat exposed climb to the west slope of the foothills once more. From here, continue a short distance on a doubletrack, watching for the BST and Beus Canyon signage to your left.

Take the obvious singletrack here and start a steady climb with two switchbacks. Eventually you'll come to a distinct 'Y.' The lower road is generally less steep but you may be dismounting in a couple places. The roads meet back up about 0.5 miles further south. From here, start downhill through some moderately technical terrain until you intersect the Beus Canyon Trail.
