This is a two-way loop beginning and ending at the Day Lodge.

Most commonly ridden counter-clockwise, this loop serves as access to the other singletrack on the north side of the park and passes the observatory.

The surface begins as a gravel doubletrack service road type trail. At the observatory, the surface becomes paved to the vehicle access gate for observatory service vehicles.

This trail is popular with cyclists accessing the singletrack as well as families, dog walkers, and runners.
