Description

The Ironworks Loop, marked as brown, is made up of the historic doubletrack that include the Slave Quarters Trail, The Iron Haul Road, and the Montevallo Stagecoach Road. These trails, many of them following the original routes of ore miners and furnace workers, cut through some of the most scenic areas of the Tannehill reserve.

This trail is actually historic roads from the parks iron legacy. The brown trail is a great beginner level loop. While it's not technical, it does have two good (steep) climbs.
