Overview
Follows the craggy contours of the mountain top on just barely track. Corkscrew through veritable elevator chutes. Continue with a natural roller coaster ride down the undulations in the terrain. Concludes with an incredibly fun berm run down to Tweed River via The Stairs. All mountain riders will be content.
Need to Know
Park a shuttle vehicle at Amee Farm Trailhead and at Tweed Cabin Trailhead. The way is not all downhill, but this will take a significant chunk out of the climb.
Description
From the Tweed Cabin Trailhead ascend the last few hundred feet towards the summit on
Green Trail. Proceed straight onto
Zebedee for an ecstatic ride that will only nudge you slightly towards your destination. Bear left on
Summit Loop and utilize the sublime stopover at the top to regroup, adjust seat height and shock travel, and gather courage if necessary. Follow
Devil's Throat to the right of the stone cabin. After a sequence of somewhat steep rollable ledge, look for Upper Bubba straight ahead. Two rock chutes of even greater challenge connect you to the top of Fuster's Trail.
Cross several small ravines then look for the turnoff to
Bubba Trail. The first half of the trail is rolling, tight and very technical whereas the second half speeds up quite a bit, remaining narrow but much faster flowing. Continue onto the lower leg of
Fusters Trail, crossing a waterfall, then making a right onto the berm intensive
Stairs/ Escalator.
Cross Tweed River and Fusters Field and make a brief ascent to Amee Farm Trailhead via
Barn Dance.
