One Way Only: This is designated as a directional trail.

Need to Know

This trail is now designated one-way for bike traffic, but keep in mind that hikers could still be coming uphill.

Description

Pigtail starts from Hogwash trail and makes a very fun alternative route, providing flow and built jumps that aren't found along other trails in the area. There is a section of steep armored g-outs followed by the 'diving board', a rock slab at the top of a gully that is a great opportunity for airtime.

The lower reaches of the trail are narrow and flowy through dense trees and shrubs. The route ends at the intersection with Mystic Trail and Peccary Trail. Turn right to connect back to Hog Wash and all the way back to the Broken Arrow trailhead.

Fast, fun, flowey, with some fun little hits. Highly recommend for those who like to go fast and jump. One of my favorite in the area.
