Overview

This challenging course on rocky, mountain-top terrain includes fern-lined singletrack trail and gravel forest roads.

Description

This ride will start you out right in front of the stone lodge where you'll head up Golf Links Rd. Climb an asphalt road and as soon as it crests the hill, you'll continue straight onto White Dot Trail.

White Dot Trail takes you on rough doubletrack through the woods until you turn onto Upper Jungle Trail. Upper Jungle Trail climbs back to the ridge through a couple of rock gardens. Once you've reached the ridge, take a right on Old Golf Course Road. As you crest Old Golf Course Road, take in the beauty of Giles County and beyond as you overlook the 18 hole disc golf course. You'll then descend down Old Golf Course Rd past the old clubhouse. (If you have a minute stop and take a break at one of the three overlooks). Follow the tree line as you drop back onto White Dot Trail. White Dot Trail will quickly drop you into a drainage before climbing back out. Look for Lower Doe on your left.

Lower Jungle Trail will continue to descend down a singletrack trail littered with rock gardens and switchbacks. At the bottom of Lower Doe, take a right onto White Pine Road and climb your way back up to Middle Jungle Traill on your right. Middle Jungle takes a steep drop before climbing back to Route 613 and above. Once you crest the hill you'll pass Salt Pond Stables (this is the office for Treetop Adventures Aerial Adventure Course). The ride finishes with Lower Jungle Trail - a gravel road that takes you back to the stone lodge where you started!

Route takes you through unsanitary leech fields and an active shooting range. Doubletrack looks like it hasnt been cut in years. Not worth riding. 6mi — 1h 30m

Novice take. Really like this ride the fire road start it totally worth it as the DH in the woods is sweet. Skip bear cliffs and moonstomper, not good
