This trail runs along the northern border of the JR Alford Greenway and consists of doubletrack that meanders through north Florida oak and pine forest. Some low areas may have standing water or even mud, so aspiring cyclocrossers may enjoy the low-lying stretches of the path.

Several fire roads split off from the main path and join up with other maintained paths in grassy areas of the greenway. Following the trail all the way to the south will connect with the South Trail.
