NOTE: Due to flood damage T-Dub is CLOSED until further notice!

Description

T-Dub puts the mountain in mountain biking more so than most trails on Moose Mountain and it is the longest trail dropping into the west side of the mountain. T-dub is littered with technical steeps, plenty of rocks, an abundance of roots and both man made and natural Technical Trail Features (TTF). Best to be prepared and carry a means of fixing a potential flat tire because the hike out could be up to 4kms and the rocky terrain can bight at any moment.

To enhance the sustainability of this trail a re-route of the gully section was completed in 2008. This option enhances the appeal of the trail to a wider range of riders. Keep left after the steep crossing of the first meadow to access this non-gully option. This new line adds a flowy side hill bench cut option, in case you're not down with dealing with the tight and rocky technical aspects of the Balboa gully.

The trails meet up again at the entrance to the 2nd meadow where there's another option at the south end. To the right is a fun segment of man made TTFs with several airborne flight ops for your riding pleasure. Keeping left follows a fast flowy ridge and is the original T-dub line.

The next trail junction occurs on a steep technical line with the left branch providing a ride around as opposed to the buttery natural rock drop feature to the right. The remainder of the trail traverses the side hills of the gully, crossing it on several occasions and ends in a powerline clearing just up from Canyon Creek. Cross the creek and ride out on Canyon Creek Road to the Ing's Mine parking lot.
