Description

From the Parking area, go across the bridge and up the gnarly washed out doubletrack. Non advanced riders do not worry - this is the hardest part of the whole climb. Stay left as you pass the bottom of Kimmer's Trail and continue up the hill. The trail climbs roughly 550 feet over 2.2 miles. It's nicely graded and the surface is about smooth as we have in Stowe due to it being machine built.

At roughly the 1.5 mile mark right after the bridge on the side of the rock. There is a short downhill, right after that short DH Hardy's Bypass goes off to the left, bear right to continue up.

When you reach the top you can either.

A. Turn around and go right back down, this is fun option for everyone and the best option for less advanced riders.

B. Turn Right on to Haul Road and continue up to Kimmer's trail.

If you do decide to turn around, you'll be treated to the fastest descent in Stowe. Remember to yield to uphill riders. The trail was designed as an up but it does work really well going down and there are no restrictions against it.
