Description

West Loop is separated from the other trails at Concord by the main parking lot. If you're in the parking lot near the tennis courts, look west across Concord Park Dr (the access road to the marina/restaurant) and you will see two trail terminuses. This is the start/finish of the West Loop. In can be ridden in either direction. The beginning of the trail is a little easier to ride clockwise as you enter.

The trail is mostly fast, tight singletrack, with some challenging root sections. You'll find a nice log ride near the western end of the loop and a small bridge closer to the eastern side.

There is also a third entrance to this trail on the NW corner of that piece of land with another parking area there as well. It's a good place to park if you want to avoid the dog park crowd.

Lots of Roots make for difficult climbs for a beginner like me. A fun loop. Trail Can be confusing As there are many cut throughs, study map 1.8mi — 0h 30m
