Description

Ride up the Zephyr or Eskimo Express, and look directly to the left of Zephyr for The Boulevard trailhead.

The Boulevard starts with an immediate 50 or 60 foot long, man-made rock garden that has a very gradual pitch. It's advisable to give yourself a little bit of a run-up here as you'll want some decent speed to clean this feature. If you come in with enough speed, and pick the right line, you can air-drop off of the final rock and onto the trail. Most people will probably find themselves having to do a technical roll-off, however.

After clearing the rock garden, you'll gather speed quickly and have the opportunity to catch some air off of some little built dirt/rock features. Keep bombing down the loose and slightly rocky trail under the Zephyr Express and rip through the first left-hand berm. The trail continues into an open ski-run and is still fast with a little bit of chatter from loose rocks and breaker-bumps. Navigate a few banked corners and then you'll notice the trail becomes a bit of a straight away - traversing across the pitch.

At this point the trail widens and you'll find multiple table top jumps. Advanced and intermediate riders will love sending these jumps given that most have the option of a steeper takeoff toward the left and a more mellow takeoff toward the right. These jumps carry little consequence for coming up short as they are flat on top and have long gradual landing transitions.

Pass under a bridge that carries Trestle Downhill over your head, hit a few more tabletops, and prepare for a series of tight turns in the trees. The trail through the trees is mostly buffed, smooth singletrack with optional rock and dirt features built into the side of the trail. These berms are well built and you can really let it go here!

The Boulevard then breaks out of the trees and you'll see the option to bear left onto Pipe Cut or stay right on The Boulevard. Blast through some chattery berms out in the open and you'll come to another intersection with Trestle Downhill. The remainder of The Boulevard is fairly similar to what you'll have already seen - fast, sometimes chattery singletrack.

Finally, you'll intersect with 300 Yard Walk. Follow the signs for The Boulevard and continue your chattery and speedy descent! The boulevard concludes at the base of the Gemini Express.
