Description

Rock Island Trail is the eastern extension of Rock Island Road. The trail continues in the same vein as Rock Island Road initially before plummeting a rock-strewn 1/2 mile to the valley floor where the trail intersects Galena Ditch Trail. Below this point is a doubletrack leading south to Georgia Pass Road; however with the recent (2016) completion of Galena Ditch Trail to the southeast this access may be closed as it traverses private property.
