Description

This connector trail can be ridden up or down and both directions are plenty of fun. Traveling up (as mapped) contains a short, steeper section that levels out to some very picturesque views of Missoula. You'll find yourself on an open slope that has a few tight switchbacks. The trail then drops into a fun tree section that grinds up to an intersection that will bring you to Fenceline or Dropout if you go left (south), or will bring you to the Ravine Trail and Stuart Peak Trail (517) if you go right (north).

Starting from the northern end and heading south will have you descending the trail. Making your way down the trail is fast and fun. Just remember the tight switchbacks on the open slope and watch for hikers and dogs.
