Description

A doubletrack motorized trail that connects up to East Fork. You can park in the West Fork parking lot and ride down the road about 100 meters and take a right to head up Valve House.

The trails starts out as open, sage ensconced doubletrack and slowly becomes more forested as you gain altitude. The first four miles is a fairly steady climb with a few technical sections. The trail then begins to descend after the 2nd cattle guard you encounter. Directly after this guard you'll encounter Windago on your right. Valve House also connects to Blind Springs in a couple of places.

The trail can be rocky, rutted and has a few steep, but manageable grades. Even though it is a doubletrack, descending this trail feels like singletrack. Additionally, you may encounter wildlife, as the area is full of it. It also hosts cow grazing and all the glory that comes along with that!
