Description

This is an access trail to Diablo Foothills Regional Park, Shell Ridge and Mt. Diablo from the Stonegate staging area. It starts from the parking lot as a singletrack and quickly ascends and descends over a couple of ridges. It then follows the northern ridge above the Stonegate neighborhood. Once past the first couple of heart awakening hills, it becomes a steady but reasonable climb into the parks.
