Description

The Flourish Trail is a continuation of the Young-Kennedy Trail that passes by Mountain Brook and features several waterfalls. The lower end is relatively level and runs above a bluff for a while and has a lot of rocks on the trail surface. Once past the intersection with the Annandale Trail, the Flourish Trail begins to ascend towards a power line easement. This section is not very well-marked and can be confusing. It may also require some hike-a-bike, at least until you reach the power line easement. The trail follows the power line easement up to Monte Sano Blvd across the road from the South Monte Sano Trailhead.

Trail is super confusing and did not appear to be marked or maintained. Ended up carrying my bike up the mountain via creek-bed. Find another trail.
