Description

Start by riding up the doubletrack Farris Creek Road #736. The stiff climb eventually leads to a flatter open meadow. Here there will be a signed intersection. Left will take you up toward Strand Bonus/Strand Hill. Right will take you to Farris Creek Road. Stay right.

Stay on the Farris Creek Road doubletrack up and through a gate, then down a quick hill. Stay left here, passing the Farris Creek Trail 409 and Trail 409.5 on the right.

Continue up the beautiful wetland valley on the road. Cross Farris Creek and turn left on a signed singletrack shortcut (6/1/2013: the sign was missing - stay left when you get to a junction with singletrack going left and doubletrack going right). Rejoin the road in 1/3 mile and stay straight. Next, pass the 402 Trail on the right, marked only with two very large rocks. To continue to Farris Creek, stay left with the road. It gradually narrows to a singletrack.

It will climb gradually to a fence (please close the gate behind you!), and then head downhill and through another gate. Enjoy the technical descent back down to the intersection with the canal trail. Left takes you back toward Strand Bonus and Brush Creek Road.

Trail is pretty much all double track/Jeep road until the final descent. Then it becomes somewhat fun however its pretty torn up by moto activity. 7.7mi
