Overview

This ride path incorporates the three main loops at Mt. Tabor Park: Pine Pong, Rocks of Doom and Booger.

Remember, these trails change direction daily, so this may not be the direction that you'll ride through the park.

Need to Know

This trail dries out quickly after a rain. It is usually open unless it is raining heavily.

Description

At the trailhead you'll find a playground, pond, baseball fields, recreation center, tennis courts and an asphalt walking trail as well as a 3/8 mile kids loop. It's a good place to bring the family to ride and enjoy the outdoors, picnic and play.

Start out on Pine Pong, a tight, twisty trail that has plenty of pines. A couple tough turns and some loose rock keeps this from being a complete beginner trail. At the first intersection, turn onto Rocks of Doom. Rocks of Doom challenges riders with slippery loose rocks and roots.

The next intersection that you'll encounter will be with Booger. Booger is the most difficult of the three trails. Loose rock, tight turns and a few short steep climbs will keep the heart pumping. Follow Booger all the way around to its second intersection with Rocks of Doom and finish the portion of Rocks of Doom that you have yet to do. Finally, finish out the last section of Pine Pong and return to the trailhead.
