Description

This is a short trail in Farragut State Park that is smooth rolling and has great views of Lake Pend Oreille. This Trail can be linked with the many other trails in the Park providing a great riding experience.

The trail starts at the east side of the Sunrise Day-Use Area on the paved path. You'll head down the pavement for approximately two hundred yards and hang a left at the #74 trail marker. You'll be on hard packed dirt as you cruise Northward along the east border of the park. The trail is very fast for mountain bikes, but don't get to crazy because the trail is heavily used by hikers and walkers.

Take your time as the scenery is absolutely amazing - great views of the lake and surrounding mountains abound. There are many benches along the way to sit and relax.
Once you reach the very northern portion of the trail it will climb sharply to another trail. This area is a major viewpoint.

At Trail Marker #84, take a left and head south to the rental cabin parking lot. This will be the end of the trail. Roll through the parking lot to the Sunrise Day-Use Area.
