Access Outer Loop from the double bridge crossing at the bottom of Inner Loop. Take the first big climb and start the most fun downhill section of this entire trail from the top. This downhill will pop you out at the furthest point from the parking area and provides a great view of the lake.

You'll then begin a slow climb through some winding singletrack to the halfway point from which you can distinguish by some fast sweeping switchbacks. Here you'll start hauling through some fast singletrack with a log obstacle in a tight turn. This essentially takes you back out to the point from which you just came.

Now head back again and hit the bottoms. Here you'll find a bypass for the rooty swamp section, or head through it. Heading to the rooty swamp section is fun but very technical and challenging. The swamp section leads to a long straightaway the links into a rocky section that provides a nice little downhill and a challenging little climb.

From here, work your way up a few short climbs that lead you to the next downhill that is a thriller. Fast turns with a good tree to make things hurt if you take it wrong. At this point, you'll be back at the double bridge crossing and can get back to Inner Loop if you desire.
