Galbraith Mountain is privately owned but trails are created and maintained by WMBC. Galbraith is open to non-motorized users except for hunting and fishing. The area is an ongoing site for logging operations so visitors should be on the lookout for temporary trail closures. Trails are multi-use; expect traffic in both directions and yield to hikers and equestrian users.

Description

A trail that is more about the journey than the destination, Papa Bear twists and turns with a continuous uphill trend. However, every turn or so darts downhill only to climb again. You'll get a lot of opportunity to view the pleasant surroundings as you double back and forth.

A more interesting alternative to the road and a good XC route, Papa Bear can be ridden in either direction.
