Overview

One of the best ways to experience the truly rocky trails in the Boise area.

Description

This ride starts from the top of Table Rock and can either be shuttled, or you can climb one of the numerous trails in the Table Rock system to its start.

The trail goes around the outside of Table Rock and features many rock gardens and very tight sections. There are some sections you'll definitely walk the first time. You'll eventually come to the main Table Rock Trail and join it for a short while until you turn off and head for the Rock Islands Loops. This is a series of challenging loops that take you over all sorts of rock outcrops. Had enough rocks yet...? The route then descends towards the river and the valley on more technical rock sections that will keep you on your toes!

This is a rock fest kind of route! Enjoy, but be careful!
