Description
The Two Rivers Bridge and multi-use paved trail system connects the Little Rock side with Two Rivers Park in Pulaski County. The Two Rivers Bridge goes over the Little Maumelle River and offers a great view of Pinnacle Mountain off to the west. There is a bike fix-it station on the Little Rock side of Two Rivers Bridge close to the bike rack east of the base of the bridge.
The Two Rivers Bridge and multi-use trail through Two Rivers Park provides a route to ride out west of Little Rock (via County Farm Road, Pinnacle Valley Road, and Hwy 300) to Pinnacle Mountain State Park, Ferndale, Roland, Wye Mountain, Lake Maumelle Loop, and Perryville.
The trail through Two Rivers Park goes through a variety of different ecosystems from pine forests to grasslands to wetlands. There is a nice loop through Two Rivers Park with a scenic spot where the Little Maumelle River starts to come together with the Arkansas River.
The trail close to the Two Rivers Bridge is often congested with users and the trail is somewhat narrow so please be patient, courteous, and cautious.
The Two Rivers Bridge can be accessed from River Mountain Road (just off of Cantrell Rd and I-430), while Two Rivers Park can be accessed via County Farm Road.
