Description
It's best to start above Hennick Draw Rd. and drop in from there.
This trail starts on the mesa's high point. There are areas below the summit to park and a steep
Two Track you can hike for easy access to start point.
This starts fast with wide singletrack and then drops above a dry drainage on wide curvy turns. Carry speed through this section to the flowy singletrack that crosses a large hill and then drops to and across
Tyler Draw.
From here the trail climbs steeply to another high point where it drops even steeper to a second flow section. This section has a mild ~3-4% grade that you can rip through if you pedal a bit. There are lots of turns and dips to pump through. Watch out for sage, though. It'll bite ya!
If you want, you can use
Two Track to reconnect with
Tyler Draw and ride back up or cross a largely trail-less area down to the green river. It looks like some folks are just riding all the way down to the green river and the boat access parking area off E Green River Road.
I usually park at the green river parking area and ride up to the top via
Two Track and
Tyler Draw, then ride back down. The trail is a little faint in areas, but it just needs more riders!
You'll experience some great views of the Winds, Gros Ventre's, and Wyoming's. Also some great desert vistas...
