Description

On the Wildcat Mountain network of trails in the HRCA Backcountry Open Space, this loop is an overall easy and fast singletrack with a couple sections of intermediate features to build your skills.

This loop can be accessed by parking at the Rocky Heights Middle School and riding up the Douglas County East/West trail that parallels Monarch Blvd. Once you crest the top of Monarch, you'll see the gate and signage marking the entrance of the Wildcat Mountain Trail area.

This loop can also be accessed more directly by driving up Monarch Blvd from Rocky Heights Middle School, cresting the hill and turning left into a small parking area by the horse corral. From there, it's a short connector ride (0.2mi) to the gate leading into the Wildcat Mountain Trail area.

Rode a few laps. Dry; some dried tire ruts & some big incised channels to avoid throughout the network. Still good times though! 7mi
