Description

Rhododendron Trail connects the Rock City shelter road with Clay Furnace. The initial section from the road to the intersection with Jump Trail is the easiest and flattest. After this easy section comes a steep, rocky descent to the intersection with Bench Trail. Then, after another flattish section, the descent continues to Clay Furnace. This section is often ridden as a climb from Clay Furnace to Bench Trail in the Coopers XC and Enduro races.
