Overview

This singletrack trail is off of the Mohawk Towpath and next to the Colonie Town Park (located in Cohoes). There are several ways to shorten or change up this trail mid-ride, but this is the full yellow loop with a new extension.

Description

This track is mostly one-way except for one small section which is marked. The trail is well maintained and mostly well marked. There are lots of roots and rocks for the trail's entirety except for some quick sections in the "spaghetti loop" up top.

The initial climb in is a moderate hill in length and grade. There are a handful of small bridges and lots of elevation change. Several climbs out of the creeks are short and steep.

Additionally, there are several areas with patches of smaller rocks (shale) on edge that require some attention while riding through to avoid punctures.

The upper mid-section has some smoother high-speed singletrack
