Description

Part of Soapstone Prairie Natural Area, this trail can be accessed by heading north on Mahogany Loop from the north parking lot.

This is a multi-use trail, shared with hikers, but not horses. The area is grazed by sheep and cattle, so look out for them as well.

The trail runs east to west along the northern edge of Soapstone Prairie. It is mostly a doubletrack dirt road. However, on the western end of the trail, there is some singletrack as well. The western tip of the trail actually crosses into Red Mountain Open Space, managed by Larimer County.
