Description
Dirt Lip features rolling terrain and interesting obstacles. It is a place to have some fun or build your conditioning. Riders can choose to bypass obstacles or balance on logs and drop off rocks for some extra challenges. Like all of the Mt. Ashwabay trails, the trail work represents the latest in MTB trail construction best practices with little to no erosion, banked switchbacks and proper drainage integrated into the trail. You can also use the southern segment of Dirt Lip to connect to Trogdor and Hot Saw.
Keep an eye out for the black squirrels on this trail. Apparently, there is a high concentration of these unusually colored "Grey" squirrels carrying the genes for black fur along Dirt Lip and Diesel Bear.
