Description
This trail is open to two-way bike traffic for the first 2 or so miles. Continue on until you reach first large glacial erratic, a very large rock named Terrapin.
The singletrack trail begins and ends at this marker. At Terrapin, make a right. When you finish at Terrapin later, stay to your right again to exit to the parking lot.
The trail is well-maintained with mile markers and blue trail markers, so it's not difficult to navigate. Along the way, riders will pass many glacial erratics named after rock music icons such as "Punk," "Lobster," and "Sly." These features were left throughout the area after a massive glacier melted thousands of years ago.
This is a trail designed for riders with advanced skills. It's not easy, but once you get used to it, it will quickly become a favorite. Momentum is king here, so keep up your speed!
