Description

Coming from the North on the Goldenrod Trail, you won't notice the transition to this trail until you hit a spot where the lake comes into view. Here, you'll want to stop to take a breather and snap a quick photo.

From the junction, the trail continues North along the shoreline but the only reason to go this way is if you're going fishing since it dead-ends at a hiker-only trail. Most riders will continues south hugging the shoreline until it reaches the West Shore Trail near Chabot Dam.
