Starts from the Brandon Trail near the Marciel Road day use parking and runs parallel to the road all the way back to Redwood Road. The trail runs fairly level with some minor ups and downs, and it criss-crosses the road several times. Watch for traffic when crossing. The singletrack is smooth and fast towards the end with no real technical challenges until reaching the Marciel Gate parking area. The Redtail Trail continues beyond this point but becomes a fire/service road so described here as Lower Redtail Trail.
