Powerline Trail is the northernmost trail in Moraine State Park, and is primarily used for the absolute shortest distance access to get from point A to B, however, it is definitely the most lame way to do so. It is also used for the best way to walk your bike out if you break something.

This trail has a couple spots of mild rocky technical riding, and also has some steeper ascents/descents in a few places. Also, there are a few spots that can be quite moist independent of season.

It could be made into a more of a XC style ride if desired, but you shouldn't be at Moraine State Park for XC style riding - head to other locations.
