Overview

Expect some wet spots throughout the trail system. This system has a nice mixture of old-style backcountry with more relaxed, flowing riding in the newer section. While some of the trails are marked, it helps to have some sort of GPS or the MTB Project mobile app to make sure you don't pass up anything while on the Forest Service roads. Again, this system is a work in progress and expect some changes in routing and some trail additions in the future.

Description

There are a couple of ways to start this ride but it is recommended to start at the Reservoir Trailhead and follow the Lake Lake Lake Show till intersects with the Reservoir Road. From there, head north on the road until you reach the start of Moonshiner's.

From Moonshiner's, go to Pickem Mountain and take a right onto FS-2420. From there, travel 1.7 miles and take another right for a pretty sweet downhill (Fern Gully and Grind Central) with some awesome waterbar-type jumps.

Next, head across the reservoir and up to the Sugar Maple Trail. At the top, head west and then turn left to climb to Flag Rock. After enjoying the great scenic views of the city of Norton and a Sasquatch statue, descend the road until you reach the start of Twisted Forest which will take you back to the Reservoir Trailhead.
