Description

"Big" Grandad can be ridden either way. Typically, it is climbed so you can save the downhill for Little Grandad Trail.

Starting from the bottom, you drop down an embankment and cross over the creek. Start your way up, and stay left at the fork. You'll climb through some rooty sections down bottom then you'll get into some rocky areas, great for test your climbing skills in rocks.

Eventually you'll cross a bridge on your right then continue upward. There are a few spots that get pretty muddy in the spring and fall that you'll encounter, so use the rocks to your advantage. At the end there is a pretty steep climb for only 30 yards before you'll intersect with the Brushy Ridge Trail.
