One of the very best routes around Aitana Mountain, the highest point in Costa Blanca. This mountain is a great spot for some epic enduro sessions. Overall a beautiful area with Mediterranean landscapes.

Hike-a-bike sections (250-300 m).

Aitana's north face is a place with character and a few very difficult sections. This area and mountain, where the limestone geology and the cold fuse for many months during the year, demonstrate extreme conditions seen in no other place in Alicante.

The culmination of this ride is located near a fault that delineates the relief of both hillsides. This section features a length of well-built steps made of rock. Although the steps are nice, they're still there... and I'm sure you'll be able to imagine, they are not easy. Be sure to plan your outing for good conditions, even if you only think of these solitary steps.
